We are a 501c3 non-profit organization on a mission to educate individuals on the dangers of drunk driving and to defeat the act of driving drunk. The Happiness Foundation was created to honor the impactful lives of Spencer Datt, Johnny Hoover and Haeley McGuire after a tragic accident on the evening of May 15, 2011. As our community experienced painful loss, we continue to heal through time.
Previously, Haeley designed a drawing for her younger sister Juliette including a young boy and girl joining hands through a small heart smiling beneath the motto we all inspire to live our lives by, Happiness. This original Happiness shirt was created by Haeley’s father John and produced by a longtime family friend Jose, as they handed these out during her ceremony to honor her beauty of living life.
As we continue to honor our family and friends Spencer Datt, Johnny Hoover and Haeley McGuire, we are inviting individuals to participate in our journey by receiving our safety green Happiness promise tee in exchange for two promises:
1.“I promise not to drink then drive”
2. “I promise not to get into a car with a driver who has been excessively drinking”
Almost 50,000 safety green Happiness promise tees later, we are committed to build a brave space for individuals to learn about the dangers of drunk driving and to defeat the act of driving drunk. 100% of all proceeds go directly into producing the safety green Happiness promise tees.
Rest in paradise Spencer Datt, Johnny Hoover and Haeley McGuire.
